ITxPT is an organization proposing standards in the IT industry used in public transportation. The benefits of the standards are to make inter compatibility between vendors Hardware and Software giving the public transportation industry ability to bring down cost of ownership as well as cost of procurement.
The non-profit association ITxPT enables an open architecture, data accessibility and interoperability between IT systems. The members of ITxPT develop the IT architecture for public transport and other mobility services together, based on standards and best practices.
The ITxPT label is the quality seal confirming that equipment, software or service is compliant with the ITxPT technical specifications.
The ITxPT community gathers PTAs, PTOs, IT Suppliers and Vehicle Manufacturers from all over the world to define solutions for the next generation mobility.
